In 2005, the first group of students “graduated” from 3SLI. Many of these students expressed a desire to return to this annual event, and several indicated that they would be interested in serving as part of the leadership team.
Since then, a limited number of internships have been established. These positions are reserved for students who have completed all three levels of training, and who wish to continue being involved in the program. The following are general guidelines regarding 3SLI internships:
- Only students who have completed all three levels of training may apply.
- Applicants must complete the forms provided by the prescribed deadline.
- Applicants are responsible for securing a pastor’s recommendation using the form provided.
- Applicants will be required to pay ½ the regular registration fee to attend, and must submit their registration forms on time.
- Delegated members of the 3SLI leadership team will serve as the selection committee when choosing interns.
- Each year, a limited number of interns may be asked to return. However, the committee will make every attempt to provide internship opportunities to as many new individuals as possible.
- Graduates of 3SLI are welcome to register to participate in the adult level training at 3SLI, whether or not they are chosen to serve as interns.
